Iranian State Media Calls Kasper Hauser "Cyber-Terrorists" & more....

Hey pals, Jesse here.

MaxFunCon is almost upon us, but instead of talking about that, I want to talk about Kasper Hauser!

Kasper Hauser are finally following up their amazing first book SkyMaul, with two amazing new books, both out this week. They're even hosting an awesome party/show in San Francisco!

The first is their long-awaited "Weddings of the Times" parody. It features some of the amazingly bizarre wedding stories you might have heard on the Kasper Hauser Comedy Podcast, and is full of deep, powerful laffs.

Rob from Kasper Hauser was on All Things Considered last week, talking about the book with Robert Siegel:

They also made this amazing video, parodying the Times' wedding videos, for Barnes & Noble:

And guess what? Kasper Hauser have another awesome book out, called "Obama's Blackberry." It's a chronicle of the text messages on our President's blackberry, in a bizarre alternate universe that only Kasper Hauser could imagine.

You can read about the book in the Wall Street Journal:

and you can check out some samples at this Fox News story:

but even more amazingly, the state-funded English-language TV channel in Iran has picked up the Fox story, without mentioning that the book is a parody. They seem to think that Obama's blackberry was actually hacked by a "cyber-terrorist" group called Kasper Hauser:

Rob from Kasper Hauser will be on CNN tomorrow morning at about 8:40 AM eastern to talk about the situation.

If you're in San Francisco, don't miss Kasper Hauser's book release party & show at Cobb's on the 16th. It's hosted by Beth Lisick, and should be really, really awesome:

You can buy the books (both are cheap!) from Amazon, now:

Of course, smart satire is a tough sell when it comes to humor books, so be sure to tell your people about how amazing KH are. We'll have some new videos coming down the podcast pike soon, so keep your eyes out for those.

Your pal,
Jesse
